چکیده

Objectives: to study the levels of total, phosphorylated p65-subunit nuclear factor NF-kB, activity p65 and relation with level ratio T-helpers type I II in pregnant women placental dysfunction different clinical types course preterm labor (with premature rupture membranes (pPROM) without it).Materials methods. The case-control included 60 women: 40 disorders spontaneous period 24–34 weeks (group – 20 timely discharge amniotic fluid, group pPROM) control (CG) normal delivery head position a fetus complications. The value total NF-kB subunit its fraction was determined all using ELISA placenta lysates. On this basis calculated; number T-helper (Th1) (Th2) flow cytometry whole blood sample, afterward calculation Th1/Th2 ratio.Results. Elevated were found (p < 0.01 groups compared CG), as well I, p = 0.04 CG). difference Th1 significantly higher both 0.03 for Th1; Th1/Th2), Th2 differed only A strong positive correlation between also established (r 0.8).Conclusions. Obtained data indicates increased pPROM, which is impact on increase due increase. This mechanism might be considered leading cause birth women. However, GC has lower significance, may indicate existence another initiation group.

Human Cytomegalovirus Upregulates NF-kB Activity by Transactivating the NF-kB p105/p50 and p65 Promoters

During human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection, a series of regulated events take place following virus binding and entry into the cell, including the upregulation of cellular transcription factors, such as NF-kB, which play an essential role in the viral life cycle. We show here that NF-kB message is induced during HCMV infection and that the induction is biphasic, suggesting an initial inducti...

Sex-ratio optimization with helpers at the nest.

In many cooperatively breeding animals, offspring produced earlier in life assist their parents in raising subsequent broods. Such helping behaviour is often confined to offspring of one sex. Sex-allocation theory predicts that parents overproduce offspring of the helping sex, but the expected degree of sex-ratio bias was thought to depend on specific details of female and male life histories, ...

Inhibition of the RelA(p65) NF-kB Subunit by Egr-1*

Induction of transcription from the human immunodeficiency virus 1 long terminal repeat by the RelA (p65) NF-kB subunit has been shown to be dependent upon an interaction with the zinc finger DNA-binding domain of Sp1. It was unknown, however, whether NF-kB could also interact with other zinc finger-containing transcription factors. In this study we demonstrate that the early growth response tr...

Dietary behavior of pregnant women, BMI and premature labor

Eating habits constitute a very important component of healthy lifestyle. Diversity of food products consumed by the mother has a great influence, through the amniotic fluid, on early formation of eating habits in the child and this phenomenon has been defined as “the first nutrition bridge“. The aim of the work was an attempt to assess nutritional behaviors of women giving birth prematurely, a...
